Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your Patient Access account
If you have recently had any tests (blood tests, x-rays, etc), and require the results please complete the dedicated administration form Contact us about your request – Accurx Patient Portal
General timescales for test results:
- X-ray – 2 weeks
- Blood test – 5 days
- Urine test – 5 days
- Biopsy – 1 week
- Smear test – 2 weeks
Please note that, due to our strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection, we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior documented permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
