We’re excited to have teamed up with Lytham Hall parkrun to promote the health and well being of our staff and patients by becoming a parkrun practice. Lytham Hall parkrun is our local parkrun. It’s a free, weekly 5k event for everyone, every Saturday morning at 9am, at Lytham Hall, Ballam Road, Lytham FY8 4TQ, and is organised by local volunteers. It’s not a race – you can walk, run, jog, volunteer or watch. Its’s open to everyone, including those who are inactive or have health conditions or disabilities and is free. Please register and take your barcode with you so you can get a time. Why not come along and join in, whatever your pace, and have a coffee with us in Lytham Hall Tea Rooms afterwards?
The event is organised by volunteers – if you’d like to help, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Together with Kirkham Health Centre and Lytham parkrun, we’ve also started a new support group for people living with or beyond cancer, friends and family of people affected by cancer, people who have lost someone to cancer and professionals working within cancer services. The group is called 5k Your Way and we meet on the last Saturday of every month at Lytham Hall parkrun at 8.40am by the tearooms. Neil Tate is our group ambassadors – you’ll be able to spot him wearing his blue top. Take a look at this link to register: 5Kyourway.org 💚🌳
